Payment

Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept multiple online payment forms, please select the most convenient for yourself:

PayNow QR (Singapore only)

We cannot accept cash or cheque payments, but for orders of 3 cases or more, we can invoice you for a bank transfer payment. Please let us know at customerservice@livesimple.wine if you require this payment method.

Shipping in Singapore

What are the shipping charges?

We charge a flat fee os S$8 per order, and deliver any one order above S$200 for free.

When will I receive my order?

We deliver your order within 1-2 days after you placed and paid your order. Unfortunately, we do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship to most residential and commercial addresses in Singapore.

We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, outlying islands, or areas with access restrictions (airports, military camps etc).

We also work with logistic companies to ship wine internationally. Please contact us at customerservice@livesimple.wine for details.

My wine was damage during delivery, what do I do?

Please inspect all goods ordered upon receipt of your order. If for any reason upon inspection you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us as soon as practically possible. You can reach us at customerservice@livesimple.wine. We will do our utmost to keep you as a satisfied customer, and resolve your issue via replacement or refund.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept return or refund of opened bottles or cases.

What are the international taxes, duties, etc. that I have to pay?

Wines in our Singapore Collection are fully duty paid, and the prices you see on our website for wines in Singapore include taxes and duties. Nothing further to add.

Prices for wines in our Overseas - In Bond Collection do not include any taxes or duties or delivery charges to Singapore. Prices are quotes for wines to be sold and transferred to your own bonded warehouse in the UK. Please contact us at customerservice@livesimple.wine for details. Restrictions apply.

In Bond Warehouse

What is "In Bond" wine?

Wines that are stored in bond are wines which have not had duty or GST/VAT paid on them yet. For this reason, they are required to be stored in bonded warehouses approved by the respective authorities. Our Overseas - In Bond Collection is stored in the UK, in a HRMC approved warehouse.

Why would I ever buy wine "In Bond"?

1. Tax deferral: GST/VAT and duty payments on In Bond wine are deferred until the wine is removed from bond (e.g. delivered to your home). Taxes and duties will be applied to the original purchase price, not the market value.

2. No Tax on sale: If you are looking to sell your in bond wine, you will never pay these taxes or duties on your investment. 

3. Provenance: Wine stored in UK bonded warehouses is the easiest to trace for its history and provenance.

I have no In Bond warehouse - what can I do?

In Bond storage services at very reasonable prices are provided by quite a few companies in the UK. Please contact us at customerservice@livesimple.wine and we can make recommendations for you to chose from.
